Exe. files are Windows executable files and can't be used on a Mac, anymore than a Mac program can be used on a PC.
If you need a P2P program try Limewire or Poison. There are many others too.

Hi,
I would highly recommend that you bookmark this site.
http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/
They list all of the latest releases of Mac appilcations.
Here is a link to a program called Acquisition.

I would stay far away from LimeWire. It is known to install spyware on both PC's and Macs.
Poison is also another good app.
Hope this helps.

Re: help with mac downloads
Downloading files on a Mac can sometimes be tricky, but help is available. Start by checking your internet connection to ensure it’s stable. If you encounter issues, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. Additionally, make sure that your macOS is up to date, as software updates often fix download problems. If a specific file fails to download, check your security settings to allow the download. By following these steps, you can simplify the download process and resolve any issues that arise.
